29 CFR 1910.95(k)(3): The employer did not ensure that each employee exposed to noise at or above an 8-hour time weighted average of 85 decibels was trained and informed of the information included in sections k(3)(i) through k(3)(iii): a) Welding Area- While welding and using tools, employees were exposed to noise levels greater than 85 dBA and were not provided training on the effects of noise, use and care of hearing protection, and purpose of audiometric testing. Abatement certification and documentation required. The employer, Custom Container Solutions, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of an equivalent Occupational Safety and Health Standard, 1910.95(k)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1456546, citation number 01, item number 1c, and was affirmed as a final order on April 30, 2020, with respect to a workplace location at 391 Wolfland Road, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
