29 CFR 1910.217(d)(9)(i): The employer shall establish a die-setting procedure that will insure compliance with paragraph (c) of this section: On or about 14 February 2018, the employer did not establish die-setting procedures to ensure employee(s) were protected from point of operation injury while installing, repairing and adjusting dies in mechanical power presses. This exposed employees hands/fingers to caught-in and crushing hazards. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
