29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: A.) On or about April 13, 2017 at 89-02 37th Avenue, Jackson Heights, NY 11372 The employer failed to provide effective information and training to employees that are required to use hazardous chemicals such as but not limited to; EZ Suds Liquid Detergent containing Isopropyl Alcohol, Epic Dical 2 containing Quaternary Ammonium Compounds and Clorox Bleach containing Sodium Hypochlorite to perform their job duties. 89-02 FOOD CORP. dba TRADE FAIR SUPERMARKET INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 1910.1200(h)(1), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 901538, CITATION NUMBER 02, ITEM NUMBER 003(c) AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 10/23/2014, WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 89-02 37TH AVENUE, JACKSON HEIGHTS, NY 11372 ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19
