29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1): The employer did not provide training to each employee who is required by this section to use personal protective equipment: On or about June 29, 2016, employees required to wear personal protective equipment have not been trained on its use. Employees are working with propane, machine oil, combustible wood dust, acetone, lacquer thinner, paint, and UV. All employees are required to wear safety glasses on the plant floor. The other PPE is worn on a as need basis based on the job task. Norton Industries, Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.132(f)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1062769, citation number 1, item number 4(c) and was affirmed as a final order on September 23, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1366 West 117th Street Lakewood, OH 44107.
