29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch: (a) 603 New Park Avenue, Mall area of chrome set up: On or about July 24, 2013, the work rest installed on the right peripheral member of the Baldor abrasive grinder/ buffer, serial number P1-97, was more than 1/8 of an inch from the abrasive wheel. The work rest was approximately one inch away from the abrasive wheel. The Har-Conn Chrome Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 311770242, Citation Number 1, Item Number 12a and was affirmed as final order on May 25, 2010, with respect to a workplace located in West Hartford, Connecticut.
