29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): The employer permitted employees to work in close proximity to energized, unguarded, and ungrounded electric power circuits that the employee could contact in the course of their work: On or about 04/18/2023, the employer did not ensure that circuits were de-energized or insulated when employees worked to install roofing material in close proximity to a 120/208v triplex service drop. Juan Zuniga Ramos dba JZ Exteriors and Repairs, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1617236, citation number 1, item number 1a and was affirmed as a final order on 10/04/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 601 12th Street, Highland, IL 62249.
