29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B): Flexible cords and/or cables were run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors: On or about May 7th, 2019, employees were exposed to contact with fire, smoke inhalation, and electrical shock hazards while working where an extension cord was run through a hole in the exterior wall as a permanent exterior power source, constantly energized, and coiled up on the ground in front of the exterior downspout, adjacent to the metal stairs used for access and egress Location: Exit Door, Old Building, 200 side, Head of Belt UPS Ground Freight, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard (1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(b)) which was contained in OSHA inspection number: 935951, citation number: 2, item number: 3 and was affirmed as a final order on (12/12/2014), with respect to a workplace located at: 750 Hicks Road, Palatine IL, 60067.
