29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): A.) On or about April 13, 2017 at 89-02 37th Avenue, Jackson Heights, NY 11372 The employer failed to ensure safety data sheets were readily accessible to employees that are required to use hazardous chemicals, such as but not limited to, Epic Dical 2 containing Quaternary Ammonium Compounds and Clorox Bleach containing Sodium Hypochlorite, E-Z Suds containing Isopropyl Alcohol and Clorox Bleach containing Sodium Hypochlorite to perform their job duties in the meat and deli departments. 89-02 FOOD CORP. dba TRADE FAIR SUPERMARKET INC. WAS PREVIOUSLY CITED FOR A VIOLATION OF THIS OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH STANDARD 1910.1200(g)(8), WHICH WAS CONTAINED IN OSHA INSPECTION NUMBER 901538, CITATION NUMBER 2, ITEM NUMBER 003 (b) AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 10/23/2014 WITH RESPECT TO A WORKPLACE LOCATED AT 89-02 37TH AVENUE, JACKSON HEIGHTS, NY 11372 ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED PURSUANT TO 29 CFR 1903.19
