29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(i): Flexible cords and cables were not approved for conditions of use and location: On or about February 24, 2017, at the above addressed jobsite, employees were operating a bagel machine, a loaf cake machine, and a round cake machine, wherein flexible cords and/or cables were used for the connection of stationary equipment and appliances, for which the equipment and appliances did not require frequent interchange, nor was the removal of the electrical fastening means and mechanical connections (quick disconnect) for the equipment and appliances necessary to permit removal for maintenance and repair, therefore exposing the employees to electric shock/electrocution hazards. NOTE: CERTIFICATION AND DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS VIOLATION.
