29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator were not annually fit tested: a) In the Batch Building, where employees required to use 3M full face respirators, model #6800, were not annually fit-tested prior to their use. Employees use the respirators for protection from 1,3,5-triglycidyl isocyanurate and total dusts when applying powder coating to steel parts. b) In the Blasting Building, where the employee required to use a 3M half face respirator was not annually fit-tested prior to its use. Employees use the respirator for protection against silica dust. Outdoor Furniture Refinishing, Inc. doing business as Allied Powder Coating was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 950210, citation number 1, item number 11a, and was affirmed as a final order on June 24, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at 6011 St. Augustine, Houston, TX 77021.
