29 CFR 1910.217(c)(2)(i)(a): Point of operation guard(s) on mechanical power press(es) did not prevent entry of hands or fingers into the point of operation by reaching through, over, under or around the guard; The employer does not protect each employee during use of Mechanical power press(es) by not covering the point of operation with a guard. a. 4400 S. Packers - Department 7 - On or about September 23, 2014, the employer did not completely guard Rouselle mechanical power press # 17, Serial # 17706, when operated in continuous mode, thereby exposing employees to the hazards of reaching into die openings and amputation type injuries. b. 4400 S. Packers - Department 7 - On or about September 23, 2014, the employer did not completely guard Heim power press #4, Serial # 3190, when operated in continuous mode, thereby exposing employees to the hazards of reaching into die openings and amputation type injuries. c. 4400 S Packers - Department 7 - On or about September 23, 2014, the employer did not completely guard Clearing mechanical power press #160, Serial # 54-3198, when operated in continuous mode, thereby exposing employees to the hazards of reaching into die openings and amputation type injuries. d. 4400 S.
