29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: a. On or about May 6, 2014, the 6-foot Werner A frame ladder used to access near the peak of the roof was used in the closed position, exposing the employees to a 9 feet fall hazard. The Fastway Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 951659, citation number 01, item number 003 and was affirmed as a final order on February 27, 2014, with respect to a workplace located at Sheepshank Lane, located in Santa Rosa Beach, FL.
