29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): "Steep roofs." Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels shall be protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Location - 103 Tremont Street, Peabody, MA: On or about 08/16/2013, employees were not protected from falling while working from a steep roof over twenty-five feet above a lower level. The, Daryl Provencher DBA Provencher Home Improvments was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard CFR 1926. 501 (b) (13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 315871574, Citation number 1, Item number 3a and was affirmed as a final order on March 30, 2012, with respect to a workplace located at 26 Oakland St., Salem, MA.
