29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: The employer does not ensure that employees were provided training on hazardous chemicals in the work areas. This violation occurred on or about August 12, 2013 and times prior to, at the manufacturing facility where employees were required to handle hazardous chemicals before being trained to handle them safely. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including the steps that it is taking to ensure that all employees are trained on all hazards in their work area.
