Section 6(a) of the Puerto Rico Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Seccion 6(a) de la Ley de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo de Puerto Rico: El patrono no proveyo empleo y un sitio de empleo libre de riesgos reconocidos que esten causando o que puedan causar muerte o dano fisico a los empleados, por cuanto empleados estaban expuestos a: The firemen were exposed to bumps and hits due to having to continue getting on their protective gear while the vehicles were moving on the Fire Pump Truck palte number 31158GE. Employees were not wearing their seat belts all the time the vehicle was on movement and the vehicle was on transit and could come to sudden stops or be involved in accident. At the Cuartel de Bombas of Bomberos Estatales de Carolina. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable to correct this hazard is to enforce that supervisors going with firemen to the field, enforce the use of seat belts as stipiulated on Bomberos Estatales policies. Los bomberos estaban expuestos a cantazos y golpes debido a que tenian que continuar colocandose el equipo de proteccion mientras los vehiculos como el Camion Bomaba tablilla # 31158GE se encontraban en movimiento. Empleados no estaban usando los cinturones al momento que el vehiculo estaba en movimiento y el vehiculo estaba en transito and podria tener que realizar paradas subitas o tener un accidente. Entre otros metodos, uno factible y aceptable para corregir este riesgo es el de esforzar a los supervisores que van con los bomberos al campo, esfuerzen la politica de uso de cinturones que tienen los Bomberos Estatales.
