29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(4): Ladder(s) were used for purposes other than the purpose for which they were designed: 81 Glenn Drive Tolland, CT. On or about March 31, 2025 an approximately ten foot fly section of an extension ladder had been separated from the bed section and used independently as a foothold on the roof peak. Safeside, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1712619, citation number 2, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on May 23, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 288 Mile Hill Road Tolland, CT 06084.
