29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1): Each employee in an excavation was not protected from cave-ins by an adequate protective system designed in accordance with 29 CFR 1926.652(c). On or about March 10, 2025, at the north side of the worksite, employees were performing pipeline installation work activities in an excavation that was more than five (5) feet in depth with unprotected sides and no protective system. W.E.B. Construction Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard, 29 CFR 1926.652(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection numbers 1764019, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on February 4, 2025, with a final abatement date of January 28, 2025, with respect to a workplace hazard located at Corner of 53rd and Cache, Lawton, Oklahoma 73501.
