29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) On October 18, 2024, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing work on residential home, approximately 12 feet above the pavement below, were not secured to personal fall arrest systems or other means of fall protection, thereby exposing the employees to fall hazards. AG General Construction Services PLLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1636315, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on March 31, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 1035 Starr Road in Winnetka, Illinois. AG General Construction Services PLLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1607441, citation number 2, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on December 7, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 739 Ascot Court in Libertyville, Illinois. AG General Construction Services LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1506182, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on June 21, 2021, with respect to a workplace located at 501 Kenilworth Avenue in Kenilworth, Illinois.
