29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords were not connected to devices and fittings so that tension would not be transmitted to joints or terminal screws: On or about May 22, 2024, the employer did not ensure that the flexible cord on the foot pedal of the Danly Press was in a safe condition, in that the electrical cord connected to the foot pedal had a damaged cable sleeve with inadequate strain relief. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
