29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: Employees engaged in residential roofing activities at the jobsite located 2937 South Maize Court Wichita, KS 67215, were exposed to falls from approximately 10.5 feet from the roof to the ground below, in that the KPRO Keller aluminum ladder used to access the roof did not extend 3 feet from the eave of the roof. The Martin Urzua was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1509852, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 03-23-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 8016 & 8018 34th Street, Wichita, KS. The Martin Urzua was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1510007, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 03-23-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 8034 & 8036 E. 34th Ct. S., WICHITA, KS 67204.
