29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: At the job site located at 1104-1106 W Trek Ct, Goddard, KS 67052employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to falls from approximately 10 feet, in that the wood ladder used to access the working level of the structure did not extend at least 3 feet above the landing surface. Framing Construction New Generation LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1665103, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 08-10-2023, with respect to a workplace located at 13445 & 13447 W. Haskell Ct., Wichita, KS 67235.
