29 CFR 1926.501(b)(11): Each employee on a steep roof with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels was not protected from falling by guardrail systems with toeboards, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Jobsite: On or about December 12, 2023, the employer did not ensure that employees installing new asphalt shingles on a commercial roof, measuring approximately 21 feet, 8 inches from ground level, were protected from fall hazards by the use of personal fall arrest systems. The Realize Services, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection #1568388, citation #1, item #3 and was affirmed as a final order on May 12, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 332 Summit Street, Manchester, CT.
