29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(B): Affected employees were not instructed in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure: Florence Hardwoods, LLC does not ensure that each affected employee receives training in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure. This violation was most recently observed on June 29, 2023, at a workplace located at 5843 Tower Drive, Florence, Wisconsin in the Planer Building. a) On or about June 29, 2023, at a workplace located at 5843 Tower Drive, Florence, Wisconsin in the Planer Building, a 16-year-old employee engaged in cleaning, clearing boards jammed in equipment and/or climbing on top of and/or in-between automatic and fixed machine components was not provided training in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure as an affected employee. b) On or about June 28, 2023, at a workplace located at 5843 Tower Drive, Florence, Wisconsin in the Planer Building, a 14-year-old employee engaged in cleaning, clearing boards jammed in equipment and/or climbing on top of and/or in-between automatic and fixed machine components was not provided training in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure as an affected employee. c) On or about June 26, 2023, at a workplace located at 5843 Tower Drive, Florence, Wisconsin in the Planer Building, a 16-year-old employee engaged in cleaning, clearing boards jammed in equipment and/or climbing on top of and/or in-between automatic and fixed machine components was not provided training in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure as an affected employee. d) On or about June 28, 2023, at a workplace located at 5843 Tower Drive, Florence, Wisconsin in the Planer Building, a 17-year-old employee engaged in cleaning, clearing boards jammed in equipment and/or climbing on top of and/or in-between automatic and fixed machine components was not provided training in the purpose and use of the energy control procedure as an affected employee.
