OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to electrical hazards. a) Jobsite: 550 Church Road, Avondale, PA 19311, Mushroom Houses No. 7-17 - On or about January 27, 2023, employees were exposed to electrical hazards by utilizing extension cords to power fans inside the mushroom houses where the path to ground of the extensions cords were not permanent, continuous, or effective. Among other methods, some feasible and acceptable means of hazard abatement include but are not limited to: 1. Follow the 2017 NEC edition of NFPA 70, 2014 Code Language: 406.4(D)(2) Non-Grounding-Type Receptacles. 2. Follow the National Fire Protection Association - NFPA 70E Standards for Electrical Safety in the Workplace .
