29 CFR 1910.176(b): Material stored in tiers was not stacked, blocked, interlocked, or limited in height so that it was stable and secure against sliding and collapse: a) On or about December 6, 2022, at Dollar General Store #8497 the employer fails to prevent employee exposure to struck-by hazards, in the back storeroom product is piled up without interlocking or limited height, such as soda, water and other drink flats were stacked six feet high and unstable. The Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.176(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1551005, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on March 21, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 1288 Beaverdale Road NE, Dalton, GA 30721. The Dollar General was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.176(b), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1450479, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on June 8, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1111 N.
