29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) Union Tank Car Company, 400 South Blanchard Street, Valdosta, Georgia; in the production area, on or about August 23, 2022 and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to chemical hazards from methyl ethyl ketone and various paints, in that the employer did not provide effective information and training on the hazardous chemical used in their work area.
