29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) a. On June 9, 2022, and at times prior to, at the company's business site located at 10651 Jolea Ave. in Bonita Springs, FL, the employer did not train employees on the hazards associated with chemicals such as, diesel fuel, engine oil and refrigerant when employees were fueling up the diesel tanks and providing maintenance service on the earth moving equipment.
