29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: New residential construction located on Lot # 156 Silver Birch Pass, Newnan, GA 30265, Second level top plates: On or about 12/16/2021, the employer exposed employees to falls of over 20-feet, 2-inches from the lower level, in that a fall protection system was not provided to employees engaged in roof truss installation activities using the top plates as a walking/working surface. Antonio Alonzo DBA Alonzo Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1301099, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on 01/28/2019, with respect to a workplace located at (Lot #577) 15 Boulder Bend, Newnan, GA 30265.
