29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) (a): Interior Second Floor - The employer did not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area. Employees were painting the ceiling using interior paint, primer and caulk. Hazardous chemicals included in those products included, but were not limited to, Titanium Dioxide, Limestone and Silica Amorphous on or about December 13, 2021. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
