29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: On or about 06-14-2021, and times prior thereto, located at Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, 701 E Byrd Street Richmond, Virginia 23219, employee(s) were exposed to fire hazards from a mounted portable fire extinguisher at the loading dock caged maintenance area that was blocked and not readily accessible. The area in front of the extinguisher was not maintained clear and free from hazards such as palletized products and lumber. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employee(s) and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
