29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): (a) Jobsite: On or about 3/17/2021, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 25 feet in height while performing residential roofing work without any means of fall protection. (b) Jobsite: On or about 3/17/2021, an employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 12 feet in height while performing residential roofing work on the roof of a back entrance of an existing house. (c) Jobsite: On or about 3/17/2021, an employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet in height while performing residential roofing work while standing and walking on the roof of a small porch without any means of fall protection. Rossy Construction Corp. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1349663, citation number 1, item number 4, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/28/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 89 Burlington St., Woburn MA, 01801.
