29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1):The employer shall ensure that each affected employee uses appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying particles, molten metal, liquid chemicals, acids or caustic liquids, chemical gases or vapors, or potentially injurious light radiation. a. Located at 4172 Holstein Drive in Columbus, Ohio: On or about December 9, 2020, an employee was operating an air nailer to fasten trusses to the top plate of the exterior wall without eye protection, thereby exposing the employee to struck by hazards. Angel Andrade was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1482119, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 08/03/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 833-869 Hidden Springs Drive, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035.
