29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels is not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): BB Frame LLC dba Frame Q LLC, as successor to Frame Q LLC, and Juan Quevedo does not ensure that employees use appropriate fall protection while engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels. This violation was most recently observed, on or about 1/7/20, at 671 Grove Ave., Cliffside Park, NJ, at instance (a): Exterior Framing- where employees were engaged in wood framing activities and were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 feet while standing on edge of an unprotected floor hole and an inadequately guarded wall opening without any method of fall protection. To abate this violation the employer must ensure that its employees performing framing work are protected from falls and that no employee is allowed to be exposed to a fall hazard of 6 foot or more without adequate fall protection.
