29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer does not protect each employee from fall hazards while performing roofing activities on residential homes and or structures with unprotected sides and edges at height of approximately 10.1 feet above the ground by the use of guard rail systems, safety net systems, and or personal fall arrest systems. This most recently occurred on March 5, 2020, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at 7947 Chatham Ave NW, N. Canton, Ohio 44720; employees are exposed to the hazard of falling approximately 10.1 feet to the ground while working on a roof of a single family home installing roofing material without the use of fall protection and or a fall protection system.
