29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(13): The top or top step of a stepladder is used as a step: BB Frame LLC dba Frame Q LLC, as successor to Frame Q LLC, and Juan Quevedo does not ensure that employees do not step on the top step and or top of the stepladder. This violation was most recently observed at 700 Palisades Ave, Cliffside Park, NJ, at instance (a): Exterior Structure 3rd Floor- where an employee was exposed to fall hazards of approximately six feet while engaged in framing work and standing on top of an "A" frame ladder, on or about 12/6/19. To abate this violation the employer must ensure that its employees who work on step ladders are trained on their use and not allowed to stand on the top step and or top of the stepladder.
