Text For Citation: 02 Item/Group: 003 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.503(a)(1): The employer shall provide a training program for each employee who might be exposed to fall hazards. The program shall enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and shall train each employee in the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards. a. On or about October 2, 2019 for the worksite at 619 Ludham Trail NW, Pickerington, Ohio, the employer had not provided a training program for framing carpentry employees with exposure to fall hazards. Due to this condition, employees were exposed to fall hazards of when installing roof sheathing, roof trusses and performing general framing duties. Yaher Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1340680, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on September 28, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 7309 Willowbrush Drive, Plain City, Ohio 43064.
