29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables shall be connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief is provided that will prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws. (a) Press 9 - On or about August 21, 2019 the employer did not ensure that the strain relief protected the 24 volt flexible cord at the control box. exposing the employee to an electrical shock when operating the press feed and straightener.
