29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): The employer does not ensure that each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels are protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, or provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). Breezeway Roof - Employees performing roofing work are not protected from fall hazards by the use of a fall protection system. The employer fails to assure effective protections against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on December 18, 2018, when male employee #3 (Michael Wright), wearing a black jacket, black pants and a tool belt was working on the roof of the breezeway. The employee was not using any means of fall protection while working on the roof.
