29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: a) Building Exterior - West elevation: Employee(s) were observed accessing an upper landing surface with a aluminum Werner extension ladder that did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing, on or about 7/27/2018. The Madeira Framing Co was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1254776 citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 3/13/2018, with respect to a workplace located at 16-18 Intervale Rd Boonton, NJ 07005.
