29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: ColorCoat, Inc./Middlesex, NJ- Throughout the plant area: The employer did not develop and implement a written hazard communication program which included information and training on the hazards of the chemicals used on site. Employees engaged in cleaning and spray painting of windows were exposed to the following chemicals on daily basis: - R7K119 Lacquer Thinner (which containes 25% aliphatic hydrocarbons, 33% toluene, 21% Acetone, 5% Xylene, etc.) - Isopropyl alcohol 99% - Hydro Flex Hardener (contains 1,6- diisocyanato-hexane homopolymer 50%, etc.) - Hydro Flex Pigmented Satin (which contains N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone 5-10%, 2-butoxyethanol 1-5%, etc.) Condition observed on or about June 5, 2018. The ColorCoat, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1245158, citation number 1, item number 2a, and was affirmed as a final order on 9/12/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 294 North Industrial Park Rd, Milton, PA 17847.
