29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not used when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: Rig # 7. Worksite at 1-30 Wewoka, Seminole County, OK. On or about April 09, 2018, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not provide and ensure the use of flame resistant clothing (FRC) to protect employees from the hazards of burns due to fires and explosions. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation describing the actions it is taking to establish, communicate, and implement policies for the use of Flame Resistant Clothing (FRC) for employees with possible exposure to flash fires and explosions.
