29 CFR 1910.132(h)(1): The employer did not provide the protective equipment, including personal protective equipment (PPE), used to comply with this part, at no cost to employees. Atticus Franchise Group, LLC, dba Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Paint, Sugar Hill, GA - On or about 12/12/2017, and at times prior to, the employer did not provide personal protective equipment such as but not limited to gloves and safety glasses for employees who perform painting, grinding, and prep work on cars. The all purpose provided did not protect against paints, thinner, and degreaser. Atticus Franchise Group, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.132(h)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1223490, citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 07/19/17, with respect to a workplace located at 2329A Hwy 78, Loganville, GA 30052.
