29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): On or about August 11, 2017 at 4130 Oxcliffe Grove, Suwanee, GA 30024: a) An employee was installing OSB roof trusses on the upper level of a house that was under construction while stading on the top plate. The employer did not ensure that an employees while exposed to fall hazards of approximately from 30' when no fall protection was used. b) Employer did not ensure that fall protection was provided to employees framing at the edge of the second floor of a residence, while employees installed OSB on the edge of the residence exposing them to falls from up to 10' and 9'' to the dirt below. c) Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 10 ' when they used the ladder to access the second floor. There were no guardrails or other fall protection in this area of the second floor.
