29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (0.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access: On or about May 9, 2017, employees were exposed to a fall hazard when using a ladder to ascend and descend the roof at a residential home and the side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the landing surface. Dealer Installation Services, Inc was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard or its equivalent standard: 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1076318,citation number 3, item number 1, AND WAS AFFIRMED AS A FINAL ORDER ON 06/09/2016 with respect to a workplace located at 1011 N. Maplewood Ave, Peoria, il 61606.
