29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: A) Exterior, Roof Level: Employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 25 feet while using an extension ladder that was not extended at least 3 feet over the landing that they were accessing, on or about April 3rd, 2017. Express Construction Carpentry was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 952855, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on 4/8/14, with respect to a workplace located at 396 W.Hudson Avenue in Englewood, NJ.
