29 CFR 1910.24(h): Standard railings were not provided on the open side(s) of all exposed stairways and platforms. Stair railings were not installed in accordance with the provisions of Sec. 1910.23. a. Second Level Pit Area - On or about August 29, 2016, a mid-rail was not provided on the open side of the staircase utilized by employees to access the second level pit area. Peoples Linen Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.24(h), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1098551, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 02/11/2016, with respect to a workplace located at 9 Giffin St. Keene, NH.
