29 CFR 1910.213(r)(4): Suitable guard(s) were not provided to reduce to a minimum the hazard due to the point of operation of finger jointer machines and veneer wrapper machines: (a) On or about July 19, 2016, an Industrial Woodworking Machine Co., Inc. finger jointer machine located in the rough mill did not have an adequate interlocked guard in place to eliminate the amputation hazard caused by the board press arm. Menzner Lumber and Supply Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.213(r)(4), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1053242, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on June 4, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 105 Main St. Marathon, WI 54448.
