29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): Floor(s) of workroom(s) were not maintained in a clean and, so far as possible, a dry condition: a) Plant, Light Weight Foam Molding - Oil leaks from Press #18 were not repaired and the surrounding floors were not cleaned, exposing workers to slip/fall hazards. b) Plant, Hot Mold Area - Oil leaks from Press #16 were not repaired and the surrounding floors were not cleaned, exposing workers to slip/fall hazards. c) Plant, Light Weight Foam Molding - Oil leaks from Press #7 were not repaired and the surrounding floors were not cleaned, exposing workers to slip/fall hazards. HP Pelzer Automotive Systems, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 924666, citation number 1, item number 2, group a, issued on 01/28/2014 and affirmed as a final order on 02/20/2014 with respect to a workplace located at 1884 Warrenton Hwy, Thomson, GA 30824. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
