29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i): The employer did not conduct a periodic inspection of the energy control procedure at least annually to ensure that the procedure and the requirement of this standard were being followed: a) At the establishment, on or about 3/14/16: No annual inspections were conducted of the lockout/tagout procedures to ensure that the procedures and requirements of the standard were being followed in that the last inspection was conducted on 7/9/14. Employees perform servicing and/or maintenance on various equipment, including, but not limited to mechanical power presses, spot welders, coil feeders, air dryers, air compressors, oven, etc. The York Metal Toll Processing, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard which was contained in OSHA inspection number 958980, citation number 1, item number 8 and was affirmed as a final order on 10/2/15, with respect to a workplace located at 8 Dwight Park Drive, Syracuse, NY 13209. Abatement documentation must be submitted for this item.
