29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1): Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level were not protected from falling to that lower level. The employer does not protect employees from falling when working on scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level. This violation was observed on or about February 2, 2015, at the job site where employees were exposed to a fall hazard when working on a tubular frame scaffold at approximately 11 feet 6 inches above the ground without being protected from falling to the ground. Gertrudis Rios DBA Rios Bricklaying Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1013471, citation number 1, item number 4 and was affirmed as a final order on January 7, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1860 Leela Springs Dr, Conroe TX 77304. Gertrudis Rios DBA Rios Bricklaying Contractors, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1013466, citation number 1, item number 2a and was affirmed as a final order on January 7, 2015, with respect to a workplace located at 1824 Leela Springs Dr, Conroe TX 77304. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the abatement date, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that all employees working from a scaffold 10 feet or more above a lower level are protected from falling.
